Nursery and Reception
Ages 2 - 5
At APS, our Early Years students learn through a play-based British EYFS curriculum guided by the 7 areas of learning — creating a warm and nurturing environment where children build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning from an early age.
The Early Years Learning Goals:
Ages 5 - 11
Year 1 to Year 6
Our International Primary students learn through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), where each term begins with an exciting theme that connects learning across different subjects. Through hands-on experiences, enquiry-based activities, and meaningful discussions, students are encouraged to think creatively, ask questions, and develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
Learning Areas:
Ages 11 - 14
Year 7 to Year 9
Our Key Stage 3 students follow a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages them to explore a wide range of subjects, discover their strengths, and develop confidence as independent learners. Along the way, students are supported by our Future Pathways team to help them make informed subject choices for their IGCSE journey.
Learning Areas:
Ages 14 - 16
Year 10 to Year 11
Here, students begin focusing on the subjects they have chosen for their IGCSE journey, allowing them to explore their strengths, interests, and future aspirations more deeply. With guidance from experienced teachers and personalised support, students build strong subject knowledge, effective study skills, and the assurance needed to approach their examinations successfully.

At our school, it’s our people who make all the difference. Hear from our students, parents, and teachers about the moments, values, and experiences that make learning here inspiring, supportive, and full of possibilities. Together, we celebrate curiosity, growth, and a community where everyone belongs.
At APSS and APIS, we believe every child is unique and special, deserving the best education regardless of their background, experiences, gender, or special needs.
