APS Film Crew Shines at ISP Filmmakers Awards 2024

The 2023/24 ISP Filmmakers Programme has officially concluded, with the APS film crew making a remarkable impact. On 16 May 2024, the ILOS team hosted the ISP Filmmakers Awards Ceremony to honour and recognise ten outstanding films submitted by students from across the ISP network. The prestigious event showcased the creativity and talent of young filmmakers, celebrating their achievements in various aspects of film production.

A panel of expert judges carefully reviewed each submission, evaluating them based on script and storyline, acting performance, sound editing, cinematography, production design, editing, and marketing showcase. The high standards and fierce competition made the selection process challenging, highlighting the exceptional quality of work produced by the students.

Last year, APS film crew submitted one film and achieved success by winning the Best Comedy Award. Building on that achievement, this year saw an even greater effort with two films submitted, leading to another impressive victory in a different category. The continued recognition reflects the dedication, creativity, and technical expertise demonstrated by the talented students.

The ISP Filmmakers Awards Ceremony served as a platform to celebrate emerging talent in filmmaking, encouraging students to push creative boundaries. With another successful year completed, the APS film crew’s achievements set a high benchmark for future participants, further strengthening its presence in the ISP filmmaking community.
