Asia Pacific Schools’ annual Karnival Kita 2025 achieved record-breaking success, generating RM121,109 in a single day through more than 11,000 digital transactions. The one-day event, held on 4 October at the Petaling Jaya campus, surpassed last year’s total of RM92,056 while also drawing the largest crowd in the carnival’s history

Marking a first for the annual celebration, the school community fully transitioned to a cashless payment system, transforming the experience for students, parents, and teachers alike. Powered by Nimble, a cloud-based customer loyalty platform by PaidChain, every transaction was completed seamlessly through QR-based payments.

Campus Principal Paul Rogers said the event demonstrated how education can extend beyond the classroom through collaboration and creativity.

“Our goal was to create a space where learning, joy, and community could coexist,” said Mr Rogers.

Organised by the Community Support Committee, the carnival featured over 70 booths offering food, games, and creative experiences run by parents, students, and community partners.

Funds raised will go towards supporting Arus Academy and Street Child United, organisations dedicated to improving education and opportunities for underprivileged children. Programme Director Amin Ashaari described the event’s success as a “shared victory of technology, trust, and teamwork”, reflecting the school community’s enthusiasm in embracing a fully digital approach.
