Future Pathways is one of APS’s five key pillars of student development, supporting students as they explore their interests, strengths and opportunities beyond school. The fair gave students the opportunity to connect directly with university representatives, explore different courses and entry requirements, and gain a better understanding of their higher education options. The event brought together a diverse range of higher education institutions, including leading Malaysian universities such as Universiti Malaya (UM), UNITEN, UniKL and Multimedia University (MMU), as well as specialist institutions such as Flying Academy. Students also had the opportunity to explore universities from the UK, including Russell Group institutions, alongside universities from Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and France. Education and university pathway organisations, including IDP and JM, were also present to provide guidance on university admissions and international study opportunities. Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) also participated in the fair. As an APS partner under our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), APU offers a range of benefits and incentives for eligible APS students, providing another valuable pathway for students considering their future studies. “Future Pathways is about helping students understand the possibilities available to them and giving them opportunities to explore these options early. As part of our ongoing collaborations with higher education partners, INTI International University recently conducted a Resume Writing Workshop for our Secondary 5 students. The session provided students with practical guidance on creating a professional resume and developing career-readiness skills that can support future university applications, internships and employment opportunities. We were also pleased to see many parents attending the university fair with their children, engaging with representatives and supporting them as they explored their future options. Through Future Pathways, APS continues to connect students with universities, industry partners and career-readiness opportunities, helping them build the knowledge, confidence and Skills for Life they need for life beyond school.
